Just for fun, I thought I'd show off where I take all my pictures. This is my setup; it's nice because it's easily collapsible when I want to use the space for something else. It's two pieces of Bristol paper with a white tissue at the point where they meet (so that the line won't be in the picture). The miniatures sit on the tissue, with a tiny bit of Scotch tape for their mark. I have one close lamp and another (a floor lamp) slightly above and to the left; I'm planning on getting another close lamp to light the whole thing better. Overall, though, I'm happy with the results I get. This whole thing is directly to the left of my computer, so I can turn and process the pictures immediately. To the left of the desk is a pile of pictures that need to be scanned. On the shelf underneath is the printer. And that is a little Lego car to the right of the desk.
